Tayra. Raijuu. Hagsfiend. Gryphon.

raijuu:

I think I know why I have all these gryphonfeels. Not just because I was once a gryphon. But because of a certain Raijuu trait. He is able to take different forms sometimes, when it suits his needs. So it’s me referencing a past life to suit my needs. I’m not a polymorph, just a being that identifies a creature with different forms. I rarely even feel the need to change so 75% of the time I am just purely a tayra. Though, most of the time when I need to change, it is into my gryphon self. Half tayra and half Hagsfiend. Why half tayra? That is the foundation of me. It is a safe self that I can always go back to. Sometimes it’s fun being Demonkin because you learn things like this about yourself.

Do any other Dragonkin get really uneasy when they see dragons killed in games, movies, or other media?

auricwings:

Same with Machinekin (evil robots, anyone?), Demonkin, Otherkin who identify as “bad” animals, etc. I dunno. Makes me feel kind of anxious or ill.

I know M-S is a troll, but their post reminded me, I would like an explanation of why otherkin never talk about the gross or dark parts of being an animal. Because a lot of animals, including…

I do write about the dark and gross parts of being a demon.

In Muxqharan (demon noble) culture, it is acceptable to eat stillborn young as a funeral rite. Disposing of the remains either way, is seen as dishonorable and disposing the meat like trash. Wasting resources is considered a “sin” back home.

I haven’t mentioned this shit on tumblr before, because I was too insecure and afraid to do so. I have more self confidence now, so if I get some troll or hater…

BLOCK.

Not All Demons Are Evil/Hate Humans

raijuu:

I repeat, NOT ALL DEMONS FIT THE STEREOTYPE. Obviously some do but not every single Demonkin wishes to harm or end mankind. Not all of use are your cliche Biblical beasts (I use the term beasts not negatively). We’re not all Succubi/Incubi either, though the ones that are are just as much Demonkin as any. There’s also the fact that not all Demons are humanoid/humanoid-based. This means some are feral rather than anthro, some are formless, some are animalistic, some are plant/non-living-object-like. Demonkin are just like Otherkin and Therians in that there is a wide variety and no one should generalize our group.

Saying ‘well all of you Demonkin…things…are evil because Satan was evil’ or ‘where’s your hooves, horn, and red skin?’ can be a little offensive to some. I am not anything near Biblical and I am not a humanoid. Yes I know I’m being picky here but I do not enjoy generalization of my Kintype.

I am not:

  • Humanoid
  • Biblical
  • Satanic
  • Devilish
  • Hooved
  • Carrying a pitchfork
  • Interested in possessing human beings
  • Trying to begin the apocalypse
  • Interested in killing or harming human beings
  • In need of an exorcism
  • Possessed
  • A devil worshiper
  • Part of a cult
  • Looking to join a cult
  • Religious
  • Evil

In fact, I love WATCHING people. Humans can be very interesting when I’m in the right mood. Some other Demonkin may tell you the same.

Text: A Demonkin Problem
The stereotype that Demons all hate mankind and want to kill humans isn’t true. But sometimes…I find myself wanting to slaughter a good portion of the population. There are just too many people. And it bothers me that I fall into the stereotype sometimes.

1. What is your species?

captainplanbro:

Half-demon.

I’m a werespider too but I dunno if that’s a species or just an ability. Probably an ability, considering my familial history. Succubus/incubus spirits aren’t exactly were-creatures by nature. (Or maybe they are. Prim creatures have no logic to us at all.)
